STAY HOME, PROTECT THE NHS, SAVE LIVES

We are unable to take customers back to their homes or collect customers,

due to social distancing.

Please can you arranged for someone to collect you and also to bring you back to collect your vehicle. If you are unable to we can come and collect the vehicle from your house.

Measures we have in place

We have a 2m social distancing in place, please follow instructions on the reception door.

If you want to wait for your MOT test to be carried out, we have one chair only in the reception for you to sit or a viewing area in workshop.

Only one person allowed to wait for the MOT test.

MOT Test

To clarify, if your current MOT expires on or after 30th March 2020 your vehicle will be automatically given a 6-month extension for as long as restrictions are in place

Please look at the MOT Extension Covid-19 page for more details.

Your Vehicle must however be in a road worthy condition.

We recommend that you still have the MOT done when it is due

If you do not have breakdown cover we strongly advise you take this out.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support during such unprecedented times.

Our thoughts and thanks go out to our amazing NHS staff as they continue to risk their lives nursing patients with COVID 19.

Guidelines from the government are clear in trying to prevent the spread of this virus and we feel strongly that we should do our bit.  This is the first time in almost 100 years of

“PHILLIPS GARAGE” that we have felt it necessary to close up shop.
